2024-01-24 - Assault Caught on Dashcam
The title says it all.
Ironic that the next day there was an article about if those signs really do help the homeless panhandlers at stoplights.

    I guess these Iron Mans are all different. I saw one of these videos yesterday and I thought I can do that and went out and got a battery this morning. Getting the 4 screws from the back off. Piece of cake. Getting the back off without taking off at least one side of the strap. NO WAY!!! Then after I got the back off replacing the battery was easy. But trying to put the back back on? The rubber gasket had stretched or something so trying to get it back in place to screw the back on was just not possible. I tried putting the back on loosly and tried to coax the gasket into position but it always popped out somewhere. Then I said I will just cut off any excess gasket that wouldn't jam under the cover realizing the watch will no longer be waterproof. Then trying to get the band back on I finally gave up. I didn't want to jam a screwdriver into my hand trying that challenge. I had bought a new watch yesterday but still wanted to try and keep the old one. It now has a home in the trash can. I admire guys that can do some of these repairs. Fortunately I am in a financial position to be able to afford a new watch. 😀

    The shifter with a factory floor console had a metal tab welded to it so you can attach a white plastic rod to it and the shifter position indicator so when you put in park , reverse or drive , it lights up what position your in . I welded on a tab for mine to work . Trying to find a factory shifter with that tab is hard nowadays.

    I have a set of air shocks on my 1964.5 mustang. I deleted the air shocks because they were very old & leaking (previous owner installed in the late 1980’s. Everything was good w/ regular gas shocks until I upgraded the wheel size to 16 inch. Then when carrying back seat passengers, I began to get tire rubbing… Found a new set on Rock Auto for just $150 & have never looked back. Tried replacing the old leaf springs first to a 5 leaf HD set, but had an occasional rub on big bumps. In my opinion, yes it’s very old technology, but I don’t feel a huge ride difference & I know that anytime I have backseat passengers I know I can save my tires!

Your video gave me the courage to open up the watch in the first place, and once I did that, it wasn't that hard to figure out.

    Should you have a filter on the heat pump and on the returns in the ceiling?

    • @NeilRichard
      @NeilRichard Рік тому

      To prevent extra strain on the system, there should only be one filter that the air passes through. We had two filters for one intake and one filter for another intake. We've since corrected it to just one filter for all of the incoming air (in this case, it's at the heat pump unit in the basement). Easier to change one filter and doesn't make the system work extra hard to pull air through two layers of filters.

    I always take a Q-Tip with rubbing alcohol to clean the grit and schmutz around the back case cover edge so it doesn’t foul up the neoprene waterproofing gasket that seals the watch.

    No disrespect, but that's one of the most open, easy to move-around-in attics I've ever seen, and for the time you took putting together that vacuum system, you could've spent that time simply shoveling that cellulose into very large contractor-size plastic garbage bags, using a narrow snow shovel. Finish up with a broom/long-handled dustpan. Also, if you're not going to air seal below where the cellulose is/was, there is no point in removing it. Just put insulation on top of it. That's my two cents. But the finished product looks great, and you did it your way, so well done. Suggestion to anyone watching - wear a p100 mask (or better) while working in an attic. I would wear full PPE, personally.

    • @NeilRichard
      @NeilRichard Рік тому

      I actually tried scooping it into bags first but the dust cloud it created made it nearly impossible to see. Maybe misting it with water or something would have helped reduce the dust but the vacuum system ended up being way easier. And yes, a better mask would have been way safer.

    Anymore they don't come with instructions just a qr code for info online. also if you can't do it off of what is on the paper then you probably shouldn't be opening a carb in the first place. I run a business rebuilding carburetors and too many times have I gotten them with the customer saying "I got a kit and rebuilt it and it didn't run right afterwards"
